This is a project I did with my ELL / Gen Ed high school government classes. Students make a political cartoon that takes either the Federalist or Anti-Federalist point-of-view. Then, they explain on the back why they chose to draw what they chose. There is an assessment form at the end where they self-assess, as well as many examples to show them. Not all of the examples are great, but some are pretty good. Please see my other government readings so that you can give them some base of the debate. They are under my US History items.
