This bundled set of So-Mi-La Pattern Boom Cards make a great station for your learning centers (use with iPads, Chromebooks or on your SmartBoards), as work for early finishers and/or for differentiation, for assigning a deck as "homework" and/or as part of your blizzard bag work. You can also project these on your whiteboards and have students work together as a group (just like with my pdf games) or a workstation center.
These fun interactive games help students learn, identify and review solfege patterns (so,mi,la) by listening to the audio pattern, matching it with its pattern (written in slime) then feeding it to a monster. Five games are included to address where your young learners are at in their music reading skills. One game is for plain stick (Kodaly) notation, two games are designed with only noteheads on a staff (one in F and one in G) and the last two games are regular notation on the staff (in F and in G). Directions are included in the first page of the pdf file you download here. Five games are included - each with 10 patterns).
The cool thing about Boom cards is that all of your students can work on their own set independently! They get instant feedback (whether the answer is correct or incorrect) and you get a report of who worked on which set, how many cards they finished and how they did!
