Target vocabulary and pronoun skills in one fun and interactive activity!
This product includes 2 student heads, 16 school items, 8 color crayons, 12 shape books, and 3 pronoun pages.
To prepare: Print one set of pages 3-4 and 8-10 and two sets of pages 5-7. Cut apart the boxes on pages 5-7 (both sets.) Glue pages 3 and 4 onto a file folder on opposite sides. “Cut” the mouth of each student so that you can easily slide pictures through it. Laminate all pages for durability, if desired.
(Vocabulary) Spread one set of pictures out on the table. Review the name of each picture, if desired. Name an item for the student to “eat” and have the child slide the item into the student’s mouth. Children can also name pictures for the adult to have the student(s) eat.
(Pronouns) Spread one set of pictures out on the table. Review the name of each picture, if desired. Name an item for the student to “eat” and have the child slide the item into the student’s mouth. Then, using pages 8-10, have the child state who ate each item. This is where the second set of picture cards comes into play. Children can place the card of the item that the student “ate” into the box on the appropriate pronoun sheet. Use pages 8-9 for children who need more assistance with pronouns and use page 10 for children who can choose the correct pronoun to use to complete the sentence.
