This product includes three different games. Each game has been created to
support students when reading facial expressions and body language to
understand the feelings and emotions of others. The first game focuses strictly on images and the individual acting out the feeling. Students are encouraged to use the vocabulary they know to describe the feelings. The second game also
requires students to act out a feeling; however, a vocabulary word is also on each card. Once the cards have been used, students can sort the cards by the
pleasant and unpleasant feelings. Students are building a common vocabulary in this game with the support of the teacher. The third game encourages students to be empathetic towards each other. Students act out their feelings about a particular image. Then the class has a conversation about the other feelings that could be felt about that image and why. Feelings can vary by personal
experiences. Students learn to accept the feelings of others.
Games 1 and 2 have 36 individual cards.
Game 3 has 20 individual cards.
