This is the 6th lesson in the series for Emotional Regulation, to be used after Feeling Emotions in our Bodies; Sadness; Emotional Regulation; Module 2 Pt 2 B. We are looking closely at the feeling of Anger. We always start by normalizing our feelings in that everyone experiences Anger and explain the basic and most common reason for it. We go on to look at the sensations of anger (body signals) experienced in our bodies. We talk about the 2 basic characteristics of being angry: making people want to act quickly and because of that can then lead to making poor choices. The end discusses the fact that there are in fact ways to cope with anger. Great to follow this lesson with one on with a variety of coping skills.
