The Chief Emotion Officer’s Feelings Activities are for students in grades 1-4 that would benefit from practice identifying emotions in themselves and others, recognize how certain situations make them feel, understand how emotions change, and the way their body reacts to emotions. You can use the Chief Emotion Officer (C.E.O.) as an engaging character that is aware of and in control of his emotions. He has specific skills that he can teach students so they can be aware of and in control of their emotions.
Consider creating interactive counseling notebooks with your students and adding these components. I have found for individual counseling that it has been nice to students to be able to show their parents what they are learning and working on, and to also see their progress through counseling.
