I am so excited about this product! This is a "Life Skills" activity based on the book, The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt; however, it can be used independently
-Bulletin Board Feelings Cards/ Flash Cards (2 Color Options)
-Feelings Social Story (2 Color Options) -Print the pages out on cardstock, laminate, and use from year to year to teach your students about feelings.
-Feelings Match -Draw a line from the feeling word to the feeling picture.
-How did the Crayon’s Feel? Feelings Comprehension Pages
-“My Feelings Journal” Cover
-“My Feelings Journal” Pages
The crayons wrote letters to the boy when they were upset and your students can write letters to you (or your paraprofessionals) when they are upset. This is great letter writing practice.
Once or twice a month, have students fold the pages of their journal and place them in envelopes and address them! Stuffing envelopes is a wonderful Life Skills activity for our kiddos!
This a great exercise for students to evaluate how they are feeling, especially for those students that are not in tune with their feelings/get frustrated easy.
