Our Feelings Cards in Chart formats!
The Feelings Charts include a set of 4 characters (Liza, Omar, Hazel and Gus) depicting the following 24 feelings:
Happy, Excited, Proud, Loving, Calm, Focused, Sad, Hurt, Sorry, Lonely, Tired, Bored, Scared, Surprised, Embarrassed, Confused, Worried, Anxious, Mad, Disgusted, Jealous, Frustrated, Overwhelmed and Furious.
All of the feelings have been chosen and organized according to current research in social-emotional development.
Each character was drawn with careful attention to details including faces, shoulders, hands and torsos to illustrate how feelings are felt, expressed and seen in our faces AND in our bodies.
Why Use The Feelings Charts with Kids:
Kids need to know that all of their feelings are important and okay, learn to express them in healthy ways and to recognize and respond to them appropriately in others. These are core components of Emotional Intelligence.
