Here are two sets of 19 flashcards (one in color, one in black-and-white) that can be used for a wide range of activities. You may print the cards on card stock so that the pictures and their corresponding feeling words remain separate, or glue each picture card onto a 3x5 index card with the feeling word on the back.
Cards can be used for many types of activities:
-check-ins (place one in each clear pocket of a shoe organizer and have students place a clip or popsicle stick in their choice)
-flashcards for naming feelings
-charades or role-playing
-conversation-starters (e.g., name a time you had this feeling)
-sorting activities (e.g., what color Zone of Regulation is this feeling in?)
Graphics correspond closely to my Feelings Posters and Worksheets
Feelings are: worried, angry, bored, confident, disappointed, scared, embarrassed, happy, hurt, interested, jealous, sad, satisfied, surprised, upset, thoughtful, excited, eager, and lonely. I've also included word cards for additional feelings: lonely, annoyed, anxious, bummed, furious, proud, and guilty, as well as 2 blank cards in each style. This will give you a little more flexibility to match the graphics with your preferred feeling words.
