Use this worksheet as a tool to help children (or adults!) identify their feelings. It works like this:
1. Have client list their primary emotions and write these on the lines to the right of the heart.
2. Have client choose what color best represents each of the emotions/feelings words that were written.
3. Have client use the colors that represent different feelings and color in "how much of their heart feels sad, nervous, happy...".
4. Can be used as a conversation starter, but also as a way to monitor and track moods and progress over time. I have clients keep and compare their feelings hearts over time to demonstrate changes.
