The ability to express feelings is an important factor in a child's emotional development. Helping children learn to express, accept, and control their feelings will benefit them in all their relationships. Teaching children to express and control their feelings will not only help them with social situations, but will also help them develop the emotional foundation for success in the classroom and the community.
