In this school counseling classroom guidance lesson, students will consider what they need when they feel certain emotions. Students consider scenarios, identify how they would feel and what they would need to calm, regulate, or feel better. Then, they will compare responses with a peer to broaden their understanding of differences in feelings and needs. Students will then make a spinner craft to show how they feel and what they need. This is perfect for classroom guidance or for a small group counseling feelings activity.
