A huge part of creating a happy, peaceful classroom for students is giving them tools to identify and work through their feelings and emotions.
This visual and corresponding work can be used to enrich your work around emotions and feelings.
I color print and laminate the visual, then cut it into 3 strips, so each student has his or her own (or, with a partner). Students then write and draw about one of the emotions (using the independent practice on page 2). We then make their work into a class book or a visual to refer to many times throughout the school year.
