This Fertile Crescent Empires Chart by History on Demand, is a student centered data gathering exercise that can be used as an individual or small group assignment. Students will use textbook, internet, and/or other resources to gather and compile important information about four of the major empires that dominated the Ancient Fertile Crescent prior to the conquests of Alexander the Great. Included are the Hittite, Assyrian, Chaldean, and Persian Empires. This chart is an excellent supplement to an Early Civilizations unit or can be used individually.
