A glyph is a representation of data in picture form. In these worksheets, students are asked to color different parts of the picture depending on what they are hearing from the music.
These glyphs are designed with specific pieces in mind, while also including two general glyphs. There are a variety of levels included, each with 3-4 things to listen for, including fast/slow, loud/soft, staccato/legato, various instruments, etc. Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, the music is not included.
The following are included:
"Believe" performed by Josh Groban
"Carol of the Bells" by Leontovych
"Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano
"Jingle Bells" by Pierpont
"The Little Drummer Boy" by Davis, Onorati & Simeone
"O Holy Night" by Adolphe Adam
"Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" by Jessel
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" by Marks
***BONUS: Two general festive listening glyphs for music of your choice!
