The absence of Rome left many issues to settler. Who would protect the serfs and peasants? How would castle owners find servants and protection in a society based on feudalism and feudal kingdoms? This test is an assessment of multiple choice and short answers to questions about the rise of feudalism and the interaction between lords and serfs. This is part of European History, and a part of our 7th grade Social Studies textbook.

This is a 3-page test that covers a wide array of topics relating to social order, attempts at stability, and the conflict over power and influence following the collapse of the Roman Empire in European History. This could be used as a feudalism homework assignment, research task, or end of unit test.
