PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity guides students to deepen their understanding of character motivation as depicted in chapter 24 of the novel, Fever 1793. Students consider the conflict between Eliza and Mr. Barret (the store owner), discussing how both are "right" based on their own motivations. This page includes prompts for class discussions and a short written response.

As a fun enrichment activity, I end with a class discussion on the Heinz dilemma to deepen students' understanding of motivation and action. Check that product in my store!
