This chapter book study is extremely handy for differentiation in literacy groups! We have been using this during our guided reading groups (where students are all reading the same book), and in literature circles (where students choose their own reading material).
It offers a variety of different comprehension checks along the way, and is segmented to fit almost any chapter book. Students can navigate through the "Before Reading," "During Reading," and "After Reading" sections, and determine which feature best fits their book at a given time. Free-flow headings like "Chapters 2-5," "Middle," and "Almost to the End!" help give students direction in finding their responses without being too restrictive.
Please leave feedback for me; I would love to hear your thoughts on what you like or how I can make it an even better reading resource!
