This is a choice board that can be used in many ways in an elementary classroom. It also includes directions for the students. The choice board is a twist on simple task cards because it gives students something to keep track of what activities they are completing. The board is editable so you can change it to meet the needs of your students. My students typically work on this when they are reading independently.
I have found that my students thoroughly enjoy choice boards because they feel like they get to make a decision about how they show what they have read.
In an upper elementary grade where students are reading novels, this choice board could be completed using one book. Students could make a choice on which row they would like to complete as a final assessment (book report) about the book they read.
