I love using graphic organizers and interactive notebooks with my students in reading! They are perfect in small groups, collaboration, guided reading, reading response, homework, sub plans, and for assessment! I created these "baseball themed" (there's some kind of baseball clip art on each page) to go with the Spring and Fall baseball season. They can be used with ANY fiction book! I'm so excited to be able to share these with you!
Reading Skills include:
*Setting (by itself)
*Plot w/Setting (one for any book and one for a chapter book)
*Compare/Contrast (3 - character vs. character, character vs. student, and book vs. book)
*Cause and Effect
There are interactive notebook pages to go with each skill. For the figurative language, I created a simile page (one with three flaps and one with two) and then left one "open ended" for you to write in the skill you are teaching, reviewing, etc.
If you purchase this product, I'd love to hear your ideas on how you use these since it is so open-ended.
You can check out my store for other "baseball themed" products as well as reading/language arts skills:
