Product Description
This is a simple recording sheet to use when teaching fiction/ non-fiction. After the students have a basic knowledge of the concept, I let them work independently or in partners to do this "scavenger hunt."

Students can search through your classroom library, their book bags, their library at home, etc. to find ten fiction titles and ten non-fiction titles.

After seating for a while, I bring them back together to discuss this questions:

1. What is more common: fiction or non-fiction?
2. What do you tend to enjoy reading more? Why?
3. Where did you find each kind of book more often? Why?
