This is an interactive notebook that covers the elements of fiction and nonfiction. It is written for 3rd - 6th grades. The activities are a mix of fill in the blank and writing full notes (a sentence or two.)

Each activity has a short explanation of how to complete it.

This interactive notebook includes:

- protagonist and antagonist

- review of the characteristics of fiction
- nonfiction: author's purpose & tone

This is part of a series of book reports for fiction and nonfiction. They can either be used as a book report or as a literacy center activity.
