These tic tac toe games have reading comprehension prompts intended to help the students think deeper about what they're reading or listening to. There are two games for pre-reading, and three for each during and after reading. Just laminate them or slip them into a plastic sleeve so that they can be reused. These games are great for small group reading instruction and are made using a dyslexia font.
How to Play: Students take turns, just as in a typical tic tac toe game. In order to secure the spot, the student must answer the question to the satisfaction of the teacher or educational assistant. If the answer is inadequate, or the student responds with "I don't know" then they don't get the spot and it is still open for the other player.
