This can project is aligned with the common core state standards. It be used as unit project or a summative assessment.
It is a choice board used to assess student knowledge of the different story elements in a fiction text.
They choose a book at their level and that interests them. They must read the whole book and then complete the project. They pick which project they would like to create for their presentation.
I have included the choice board/directions sheet, a rubric with the C.C.S.S. and a checklist for the students to self-assess themselves along the way.
