Included in this product you will find 36 open ended questions to use with any short story, picture book, or novel.
These questions are designed to be used to get your students really thinking about their story.
Several ways they could be used in your classroom:
-After SSR or other silent reading time, put two questions up on the overhead projector. Have students answer one or both of the questions about the story they were reading.
-Print these cards in color and laminate them. Place them in a reading response center.
-Select a few of these cards and place them in a rotating station that students use to talk about a whole class story they have recently read.
-Use them as discussion starters for literature circles.
-Use them as a warm up question or exit ticket.
