Have fun learning all about frogs with these leveled readers! As an author for Scholastic Canada, I understand the importance of having books for your students that are engaging, use rich vocabulary but still reinforce those important sight words.
This resource includes both fiction and nonfiction readers (color, black and white versions) with 3 levels of differentiation. As a BONUS, your students have the opportunity to CREATE THEIR OWN BOOKS – both in fiction and nonfiction. Nothing boosts a student’s confidence like being able to read AND write a book!
These leveled readers are in a simple print, cut, and staple format. They are coded, making it easy for you to see the reading level but it’s not obvious for students. It’s perfect to use when beginning readers want to fit in with higher-level readers!
Included in this resource:
* Fiction Reader: "Frog Looks for Spring" (3 reading levels)
* Nonfiction Reader: "Frog Life Cycle" (3 reading levels)
* Book templates so students can write their own books (3 levels for fiction and nonfiction)
* Reading Comprehension Activities
* Label the Frog Life Cycle
* 2 Acrostic Poems
* 2 Word Searches
* Writing Prompts
* Additional Writing Stationary
* Templates: Create Your Own Frog (Art Activity)
