This worksheet allows students to understand the difference between fiction and nonfiction through examples. The front page gives the definitions of fiction and nonfiction then asks the students to underline examples of nonfiction listed and circle examples of fiction listed. The students are then asked to circle the parts seen in a nonfiction book such as facts, labels, and headings. They are then asked to write the title of a nonfiction and fiction book that they know. The worksheet ends with the student finding a nonfiction book and writing two facts that they learned in complete sentences.
