Hello friends! Thank you for checking out my Text Features activity! This literacy activity is designed for use when teaching about fiction and nonfiction text features.
It is differentiated three ways and can be easily used to introduce fiction and nonfiction at any primary grade level. I've included both whole group cards and literacy center cards as well as process sheets for accountability. AND IT'S IN BLACKLINE!!!!
*whole group text feature cards for use in whole group lessons
*Differentiated center activity cards (pictures only, picture/words, words only)
*Blackline copies of each center activity
*Process sheets for each center activity
*Anchor chart for whole group lesson
*Pictures for anchor chart
*Process sheet for personal anchor chart
**NEW**I've included a digital copy of this activity as well. You can use the digital center in Google™ Slides™ or Microsoft® PowerPoint™. To use the digital features, it would require a computer (or tablet), Internet access, and a free Google ™ account or a Microsoft ® Office account. The students would open the file and click and drag the features to sort them under fiction or nonfiction. Easy peasy! Less prep work for you! Just put the slideshow link on a computer or iPad, and you're good to go!
I really do hope you can use this in your classroom!
Thank you and Happy Teaching!!
