Fidget Rules and Social Story

What educators are saying
Description
Many students use fidgets to keep their hands busy and help them maintain focus during the day. Without rules and direct instruction in how to correctly use fidgets, however, students may use them in a way that is distracting.
The fidget social story, "The Wiggle Worm," describes how Walter (a boy who is often a wiggle worm) uses a school tool called a fidget to help him listen. The social story describes the rules Walter must follow in order to use his fidget. Also included is a girl version with Wendy the Wiggle Worm! Instead of Walter or Wendy, you can also insert your student's name into the story. I've included two pages (one boy and one girl) with the name left blank.
This product also includes three response pages (one draw/write and two draw only) for students to describe how they will use their fidget
For quick reference, a one-page version of the social story and a rules list are also included.
