This is a fun activity to do at home during the summer or as a Math Center in the classroom. Your child will review color words and trace shapes. To prepare your fidget spinner, cut a corner of post-it-note into a triangle and stick it over one of the circles. This will be your pointer. Place the fidget spinner on the dot and have your child hold the center with one finger and spin with their other hand. Your child will trace the shape the color your spinner points to. There are 7 sheets in this unit. Shapes used are: circle, square, oval, triangle, rectangle, trapezoid, and rhombus.
These are also great for Child Care Centers and Summer Camps.
