Learning Objective
Students will improve their reading fluency. Students will demonstrate their understanding of each script by answering comprehension questions.
Description
These five partner plays are intended to be used as fluency-building activities that students can read and complete with a partner. Each script follows Mr. Parks's class as they progress through Field Day. They require minimal teacher support, and would be an ideal activity for a class winding down after Field Day or anxiously awaiting for Field Day to begin!
It also includes a BONUS comprehension worksheet. After reading each script, students answer two or three comprehension questions that accompany that particular script.
This resource is available in multiple formats. Each teacher gets to choose the format that best meets his/her students' needs. You will choose between the printable partner plays and the paperless version that uses Google Slides. Each script is exactly two pages, making it easy to print them back-to-back on a single page.
