In the Fierce context, accountability is an attitude, a personal, private nonnegotiable choice about how to live one's life, and one of the most powerful choices anyone can make. It's the desire to take responsibility for results, a bias toward solution, toward action. It's about holding yourself and others able and setting the bar high. After all, people rise or fall according to our expectations of them, and that includes students, colleagues, and ourselves.
The Decision Tree is a marvelous tool for creating high levels of personal accountability. It gives you and the students a road map of clear expectations regarding responsibility for decisions.
This bundle includes three introductory activities to Fierce Conversations, as well as three activities and three worksheets that take roughly 20 minutes each to complete.
