Year after year my students enjoy this Life Science Tic-Tac-Toe Project. It works like standard tic-tac-toe. Students must choose three tasks in a row either diagonally, horizontally, or vertically. To keep it simple, I combined the directions, requirements, and scoring rubric into one activity sheet. This has worked well over the years. Usually, I give my students a couple of weeks to get the project completed. Be prepared for quite a few Bug Collections. I always look forward to seeing what my students bring in. This is a great alternative assessment for our Life Science Unit.
