Help students identify and understand their own body’s response to stress and the purpose behind their body’s changes under stress with this resource. Students will learn about the fight-flight-freeze response that is triggered when the brain perceives a situation as a threat and sets off an alarm in the body. It is this “alarm” that warns students to immediately follow a plan that includes using a coping strategy to reduce stress.
This resource includes one group session lesson plan from my comprehensive stress and anxiety curriculum—STRESS DEMOLITION
