I hope you enjoy this core-aligned wreath sorting craftivity! It makes a great literacy center towards Christmas when the kids are antsy. It covers hyperboles, idioms, and metaphors. Core standards are listed in the credits along with the answers to the craftivity. I included word wall cards that define the three figurative terms. Cut, glue, and paste the figurative language ornaments into the wreath.
New: I added a wreath and ornaments in color for those of you who would prefer to laminate and reuse in a literacy center rather than copy the blacklines.
