This editable flipbook will help your students keep all of their figurative language definitions and examples in one place. This flipbook works great in an interactive notebook. This strategy can be used various ways depending on how you introduce and scaffold figurative language terms. The example page can be used for examples you give and then students find their own definitions and write those underneath the example flap. If students are familiar with figurative language or if you are using this for an assessment, students can write their "found" examples directly on the example flaps.
