Students can learn about the different types of figurative language using this foldable.
Directions: Students will fold on the solid black lines and cut on the dotted lines. Then, they will cut out each figurative language definition and example. Next, students will match up each type of figurative language with its definition and example. As a class, go over students answers to ensure they have identified them correctly. Then, students will glue the example on the back of the flap and the definition on the inside.
