What is Included?
There are over 20 types of foldables and cut-outs to use as students learn about figurative language.
These foldables focuses on 16 types:
Alliteration, hyperbole, imagery, simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia, idiom, puns, oxymoron, anagrams, palindromes, cliche, understatement, anecdote, and interjections.
These foldables can be used simply for defining the terms, writing figurative language, identifying specific pieces of text that use these techniques, and then answering question on why F.L. is important in their writing and that of others.
*These foldables can be used with classroom lessons.
*Have students pick text, multimedia, or more to find different types of Figurative Language.
*Use as part of a lapbook or journals.
*Create class bulletin board and have student put foldables on it.
