This PowerPoint presentation has students identify 5 different types of figurative language (personification, onomatopoeia, simile, metaphor, and hyperbole). The presentation gives an example that the student must identify. Then, if the student is correct, the next slide is presented with a target. By pressing the space bar, an arrow is "released" to hit the target. The point value is given. This helps students never know which "team" will win because each question is worth different points. Helps with engagement instead of each question worth 1 point. 15 questions in all. You can add to, modify, or change this PowerPoint to fit your students. However, do not repost as your original work.
