Use this flip-book to introduce figurative language in the classroom. Student cut on the solid lines and fold on the dotted lines, gluing down the left side of the page. Then, add the definitions of each kind of figurative language underneath the flap. Have students find or think of their own figurative language on the back side of the flap! This is a fun and engaging way to introduce figurative language and to give students a resource they can keep going back to.
