This product is two different figurative language practice worksheets. In each worksheet, students will match definitions to figurative language terms, identify figurative language in sentences, and create their own examples.
The first worksheet covers: simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, and hyperbole.
The second worksheet covers: simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, and idiom.
These worksheets are not intended as a teaching tool, but as practice after learning about figurative language. The matching definitions do repeat from worksheet one to two (with the exception of hyperbole and idiom), however, the sentence examples are different.
