There are 4 cards for each of these - a total of 28 cards. There is a card with the definition & example sentence. These (7) cards do not have a QR code - just text and graphics. These are the same as the figurative language posters in my store, but in a smaller format for individual reference. There is another card with a QR code that links to a video that gives a definition and example. There is another card with a QR code that links to a video of a song about that literary device. The 4th card for each one is a QR code that links to someone reading a picture book that illustrates that type of figurative language. One of them has movie clip examples instead of a picture book.
I like to hang these on a ring that students can access for additional support when learning about figurative language. They can scan the QR codes and watch videos that will help to reinforce the concepts that have been taught.
All of the video links are YouTube videos that are filtered through SafeShare to remove ads and comments. You will need devices that can scan QR codes (there are free apps) and you need to make sure your school has not blocked YouTube and/or SafeShare. There is a set of QR codes in my store that are free that you can download to check.
