Product Description
My students love this activity. It is a fun way to teach basic figurative language (metaphors, similes, personification, and hyperbole). The students are broken up into groups where they write a short skit using only figurative language. This is easily modifiable to any type of figurative language, though this one focuses on the four types mentioned.

By the time your class has worked through this quick project and then performed the skits, everyone in the room will know exactly what figurative language is all about. Works much better than a boring worksheet on similes and metaphors.
