Teach or review figurative language with this silly, engaging skit. It covers alliteration, idiom, onomatopoeia, and oxymoron. These figurative language pieces come to life with silly personalities as they are being interviewed by the four narrators. On top of teaching about these language pieces, the story line includes a lesson on not comparing ourselves to others, and embracing how we are beautifully unique.
There are two copies of this skit included in this bundle. One is has the figurative language pieces color coded, and the other is black and white with the figurative language pieces in bold.
There are also headbands for all eight parts. Having the students wear the headbands gives them, and the audience, an extra visual to help the figurative language pieces go into long term memory.
