Product Description
This lesson is a good 1 day review of the key figurative language terms, their definitions and examples of each. I use this as a cooperative learning assignment because I love the debates and conversations about the phrases. It also gives students a chance for application of the terms in finding ways to describe the picture. One of the breakdowns for students in the learning process is the application process. If they don't know how or when to use a concept it's a waste of their time and ours.

This lesson is GOOGLE ready, but can also be used as a print and go product as well. Teaching in a Google Chromebook classroom for the last 3 years has been incredible. I am a Google Certified Teacher and like to practice what I teach (& preach)! The Google Suite transition was an easy move for my students and myself. Learning a new skill keeps us in the same mindset of our kids...a little struggle and a ton of growing!!
