This game is designed to be played just like the card game Spoons. Only instead of finding matches that are the same number, the matches are educational concepts. This game deals with figurative language: similes, metaphors, personification and hyperbole.
This is a second set of this game and skill. Click here to see Figurative Language Spoons: Set 1.

This fun center is perfect for small groups, remediation, enrichment, or even just an incentive for students who master skills.
This resource contains a Notes to Teacher Page, Directions, Game Cards, Answer Key, and an Optional Recording Sheet if you want an accountability piece.
The students are required to find four cards that each refer to the same type of figurative language. One card states the figurative language, one card defines the figurative language, and two cards provide an example of the figurative language.
