A great game to practice and learn Figurative Language in Spanish. The purpose of this game is to help students recognize what expressions in the poem are figurative language.
Figurative Language in a poem uses different kinds of figures of speech. It uses words of speech out of their precise meaning or out of their usual pattern to improve beauty or emotional power or to allocate the poet's logic impressions by relating one thing with another.
There are lot of figures of speech, but we will only examine six in this game: Onomatopoeia, Hyperbole, Alliteration, Metaphor, Simile, and Personification.
