Product Description
This project assess students in a fun way. They must apply what they have learned about figurative language through mini projects for each one. Each page includes a detailed assignment, the definition and a example of that particular figurative language.
Examples are:

Onomatopoeia Mural
Alliteration Advertisement
Silly Similes
Self Portrait Metaphor
Hyperboles
Idiom Investigator
Personification
Outrageous Oxymorons

This project also includes a rubric for grading based on a 100 point scale. This makes for easy grading. Things like neatness, creativity and conventions are also listed on the rubric.
I bind these into books, and my students love working on their “own personal book.”
