Product Description
Students love youtube. So why not have fun with it and use it as a learning tool to teach (or review) figurative language? Lines from the clips are written down and students must identify the figurative language being used and interpret its true meaning. The teacher can add rigor by asking students to further ask the effects the figurative language creates for the viewer and what would happen if figurative language wasn't used or a different form was.
