Product Description
This jeopardy-like powerpoint game reviews figurative language using lyrics from popular music stars such as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Linkin Park, and Kenny Chesney. Lyrics are given to students and they must identify the type of figurative language used such as simile, metaphor, idiom, or personification. Some lyrics are asked to be explained such as "What does this idiom mean?" This powerpoint is a great review for an upper grade elementary class, a middle school English Language Arts class, or a high school intervention class. I used it with my 7th grade class and the students loved it! Great for test prep as well. Created by Kimberly Gallo
